How does it work?

Making an exchange is quick, easy, and best of all, free. You could be just an email or phone call away from unloading that unwanted item or having a new treasure in your hands in no time.

Browse listings
Anyone can browse listings. Search through most recent items, or by individual or multiple categories. Use the search feature to quickly find what you seek.

Post your own listings
To post an item on the exchange, you must first create an account. This simple process allows us to track user rates and monitor unlawful activity. Rest assured, your personal information will be kept personal; see our privacy policy for more information.

Once you receive your password, posting items is easy and limitless. Simply click on the Post Listing icon at the top or bottom of each page, and the system walks you through the rest. Remember, everything on the exchange is traded free of charge.

To post a wanted ad, follow the same procedure as above. The system automatically searches through the available items for a match. If there's no match, wait to hear from someone on the exchange.

Make an exchange
Once you find an item of interest, contact the person offering the item and arrange the exchange. Remember, all items on the Eco-Cycle Exchange are free-there is no charge for any exchange.

Exchanges are conducted by the individuals using the site, with no involvement from either Eco-Cycle or its sponsors.

New items
Post a wanted ad for a specific item and the system automatically searches through the available items for a potential match.
